I only wish there were some better ways to improve the trigger on the Venture. I’ve seen the You tube videos about cutting the trigger spring, and cut a little
From mine but I wish we could get a replacement assembly

that is a drag, trigger on mine is excellent.

Wolfdog; I did a few tests on the stock Venture trigger group, I'm assuming the Compass triggers are similar. The attached box plot shows initial trigger after using for 2 years (blue); stock trigger assembly after cleaning with spray solvent and a light mist of gun oil - no disassembly (orange); current trigger pull after trimming 3/4 turn from spring and reassembly (grey). It is much more consistent now and while not that light, it is OK for me.trigger.jpg

If you're not familiar with box plots, exterior horizontal lines are min/max, bottom edge of box is 1st quartile, horizontal line inside box is median, X is mean (avg), upper box is 3rd quartile.
