That federal fusion shot great out of my rifle. I use the barnes 185tsx in my 338-06 improved. It’s been accurate and deadly. I think 22” would be perfect for that rifle barrel.

Just packaged up my 338 encore barrel to send it off to be shortened. I think I am going to go with 22".

I’ve shot those ballistic silver tips out of my 338-06ai. Most accurate bullet I’ve shot in that rifle.

22” should be perfect for your rifle. It will be very compact and handy with that shorter length.

Those silver tips were hard to find. I found them at Natchez Shooting Supply. Shooters Pro Shop website just got some in stock though.
