Yeah, I attend a relatively large church in a very commercial part of town and we have issues almost weekly. Typically nothing too serious, but always something going on. Lots of homeless, who know they’re welcome so long as they aren’t drunk or disorderly. Unfortunately they don’t always play nice.
I had to escort one man out during a service, and the local PD told us later he’s incredibly aggressive and flagged for officer safety concerns.
It’s so unfortunate we need to be there, but such is the world we live in. So we sheepdogs do our thing and train for a radio call we hope never comes.
