    And my first thought is . . . was that primer seated a little high.
    .003" could make a difference I would think. Is the finer workings of the BCG within specs ?? No worn parts ?? None with a manufacturing defect ??
    My point is . . . there is a lot of things that could cause or contribute to the cause of a slamfire besides the thickness of the primer. --- SAWMAN

    Right, no point muddying the waters with a bunch of what ifs. The original question was, does it make a significant difference using 400's or 41's? And for that I would say no. It's personal preference. Both function perfectly well.
