guys i need to reblue a marlin .22 rifle.has bad rust on it now .what is the best easy kit to buy.the gun can not be replaced due to being afamily members past gun

I've done a couple of guns with the Birchwood Casey kits (not the paste) with great results. That being said, the only reason it turned out so well was a shit ton of prep work. The metal needs to be perfectly clean in order for the blueing to take.
