308 hunting bullet

I have shot an awful lotta stuff with sierra 150 pro-hunters and factory remington 150 core-lokt.

Those bullets have killed a lot of animals, but if elk is on the menu, I think a stouter bullet would be in order.

I gotta agree with that. I know alot of guys shoot a 150gr bullet in a 308 but I was told when I got my first 30.06 that it and a 308 were designed around the 165 and 168 gr bullet. So that's what I went with and have never deviated from that.
