    I currently own 3 6.8's. My expierances/thoughts are this - - -> Pick a mid weight bullet . . OR . . the Hornady 120gr SST. By mid weight I am saying between 95 and 110gr. That 10 twist will stabilize a 120gr lead or a 110gr no lead makeup bullet.
    For 300yds you can use a flat base bullet. The extra B.C. of a boat tail will not help at 300yds. Move it fast.
    Scan the manufacturer's sites of powder and bullets for starting points. There are tons of combo's. The 6.8 is pretty easy to load for although there is not a huge bullet choice . . . but enough so that you can get done what needs to be . . . for target or hunting.
    REMEMBER . . . the 6.8SPC is not or will ever be a 270Win. --- SAWMAN
