H4895 works very good with Winchester primers and 85gr HPBT Sierra. Have you tried 100gr Speer or Sierra with Varget and CCI primers. These are the best I use in my 2 243's.

i shot some test 90gr speer in this last test. Holes were clean, but about 1 1/2 is all I could do in 3 different charges of sets of 3. I have 85s, but am tryimg to use up others I have for this rifle. I have a few 243s. I did all tests with CCI primers. I may try a magnum primer in hopes of eliminating the little bit of smoke on the shot. So far best groups have been with vmax 75gr. I have not tried varget yet. I do shoot 39gr varget and the 75 vmax in my 6mm .... and it does extremely well.
