Will the colder weather affect your readings? Wanted to test reload rounds for 308 this summer, but life happens.

Your velocities May be different from the cold affecting your powder, but the chronograph should be accurate.

Agreed. Velocities will be affected depending on how sensitive they are.

Chrony is master beta, bought in 1998 when i was shooting with USPSA. I was looking to use H4895 for 308W, and possibly BL-C 2 for 223.

Chrony is master beta, bought in 1998 when i was shooting with USPSA. I was looking to use H4895 for 308W, and possibly BL-C 2 for 223.

Neither of those powders are really temp stable powders. So the velocities will be depressed over what you might expect to get if the rounds were fired on a warm day.
