    Trail Boss for 38 special

Hey everyone I have a question about trail Boss. I wanted to load some lead swc bullets I bought but they are weighing in at around 164 gr. Could I use the 158 gr data and work up? I'm just wanting to load some milder loads up to let the wife shoot. Also, can I load fmj bullets with trail Boss or should I stick with lead?

Start low and work up and you'll be fine with 158gr Data.
If there is Jacketed data available for Trailboss, load it up

I was not impressed with trail boss in my 38. Too light of a charge and not a lot of speed. I found that Hi-skor 700x or CFE pistol had better speed and accuracy. Just food for thought. I ran 3 different powders side by side, and trail boss fell on it's face every time.
