    .338 Federal test loads

Working on a few loads for 338 Federal. One is 160gr Barnes over RL7, the other is 200gr Hornady over TAC. Anyone else use these bullets?

Ive used the 160gr TTSX exclusively in my 16 1/2” Ruger M77. With a muzzle velocity of 2725fps, this round has taken countless deer and hogs, with stellar results. The biggest hog was right at 300lbs, and had a complete pass through.

I had great results with H4895 and the 210 Swift bullets in my TC3 The brass was reformed Federal 308. My load was moderate with 43 grs. I stopped there because it was necessary to save up for more bullets. Varget had also worked for me.
