I went out and expended some ordnance with a friend of mine today. We had no real intention of doing anything accurately, it was more about torture testing a couple rifles that I installed echo triggers in for him.

The echo triggers are fun, but I actually prefer a good single stage. They seem to take a good bit of getting used to to get a good steady cadence from them, but the semi auto setting is smooth and comparable to a lightly sprung (JP style springs) mil-spec trigger. Not something I’d spend my money on, but I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to try one out.

I also got to compare my subsonic blackout ammo to factory ammo. It turns out that mine is noticeably quieter than factory through both of our suppressors, not to mention that they cost about 1/6 the price.

Hopefully I can finish up the 18” DMR style build I’m working on before I go back to work on Monday, so maybe I can take it out next weekend and see what it can do.

Using up the last of these today, picked up 500 of them at an estate sale a few years back for $3.75. Some of the anvils are swelled out a little which makes feeding on the LnL a little finicky. But, every one goes "Bang", so for that price I will deal with it.

Well, I did try out the Hybrid 46 the other weekend and couldn't be happier. It sounded great on the Scorpion, but even more impressed with the sound on the 300 B/O. All my subsonic reloads performed awesome, in each was able to determine at what point I hit supersonic. All in all, a very good first outing with a can

Outstanding! I love it when things come together easily like that.

Last night I finished sizing up all of the brass I had laying around. Right now I have something like 600-223, 200-300aac, and 120-6.8spc in the wet tumbler. It's the biggest batch I've tumbled at once, so we'll see how it goes.

I was going to go to the range to try out my newest rifle, but they were having a 200y varmint match, and I slept too late to get into it.

I have a couple racks of ribs smoking, and nothing else going on for at least a couple hours, so maybe I'll take a nap.

No reloading done yet after moving at the end of July. But the bench is screwed to the wall and shimmed to take out any wobble from the legs in carpet. Hopefully today after work, I can get the press bolted down and the bench loaded back with all the “stuff”. It’s sad to walk into the room to see all the boxes of things that should be back in their space on the bench.
