Thinking of reloading 6.5-300 WBY for Deer hunting

    Hey guys.

I recently picked up a Weatherby Vanguard 6.5-300 because I got a crazy deal on it. I've since let a buddy use it and between he and I and about 4 kids we've shot 2 boxes of shells. At nearly 50$ a box or more, I'm seriously considering reloading for it. I know the WBY rounds can be a bear to reload for, but I'm tempted to try it.

Right now were shooting the 140gr soft points which are Norma Spitzer bullets. I also bought a box of the 127 LRX to try but they were nearly 70$

I have everything I need but the dies to do it. I've considered using the 143gr ELD-X bullets because I love them in my 6.5CM.

Anyone fooled with this at all? Is it worth getting into?

I’ve not loaded for that weatherby round, but have for a couple others. They are not a bear to reload, they are just like reloading for any other belted magnum. I would definitely reload for it.
