    Yes, if you start at the start charge and work your way up.

    Yes. Start at the bottom and work your way up. It's not the type of bullet you have to worry about. Its the weight.

    More bearing surface of bullet to barrel increases pressure also. However,that usually goes along with the bullets weight as in above.
    Understanding unsolicited opinion,but . . . IMO the XTP is a better bullet. --- SAWMAN

    Over my way,we hunt hogs at night with a thermal sight mounted AR. My carry/back up gun is a Glock 32 chambered in 357Sig. My load is a 147gr XTP. This combo has dispatched some of the bigger hogs that just did not seem dead "enough".
    I have also had to set my primary gun up against a tree and go into the thick stuff armed with only my pistol,after a wounded boar hog. Some quite large.14 shots of the 147's makes it a little easier. --- SAWMAN
