    Great Night in The Lab

I picked up my son from school and he came down to The Lab after his homework to process some 30.06 to get ready for some FMJ’s I got from Wes. Love these times.

Very awesome. My son is 28 so he just likes me to reload it so he can shoot more lol. Can’t wait til my grandson is old enough for me to teach him the art of reloading !

My 8 year old is very much into it. He helps me when I’m making fishing leaders, reloading, scope mounting, cleaning guns. The other day I found him just hanging out at the bench, and he asked “dad, do we have anything we need to load”?

I can’t agree more. That kind of time spent with your kid are incredible, and being able to share something that you are passionate about with your kid is priceless.

Last night I was loading some 350 rem mag and Matthew came in and started looking around and said, I sure wish you had another chair in here. While he was watching he took the powder funnel from me and was holding it over the brass while I dumped powder. Then as we were seating bullets, he reached over and started pulling the handle down. Next thing I knew, and I’ve got no idea at exactly what point this happened, he was sitting in the chair and I was kneeling next to him, helping him, instead of the other way around.

I started them out single stage. I had to get another press. They just can’t seem to take turns.
