    New smoker

Bought a new traeger 34 smoker friday, tired of having to add wood to my old one every few hours. Thats a whole small pig. 16hrs at 225, then made 2 pans of baked beans and 9 huge baked potatoes. Cooked some deer for dinner on sat, smoked the pig sat night, made the fixins sun morn, reheated everything sun eve Used about 2/3 of a big bag of pellets.

Nice! I’ve been looking at these but just haven’t pulled the trigger.

I saw the resale value and figured what the hell. The only downside is they use 110v power, limiting the location of it, and the limited temp. Cant exactly get that seared crust on a steak either but so much more convenient!

I know what you mean. I only use mine once or twice a month. To cook dinner with the in laws.
