    30-30 with lead ball

Not really a wildcat round I seen something about loading 30-30 with I believe a .32 lead muzzle loader ball and a light powder charge does anyone have hands on with this

That would get messy really quick, I'd imagine. Roundballs are very soft.

From what I heard is it won’t have the velocity of a normal round which is why they can use the round ball and are good for short distances and small game

Velocity isn't the problem. First, you have a soft material. 2nd, there isn't any bearing surface, so you'll end up with flame cutting where the gas goes past the bullet. You won't be able to get any consistency of pressure and velocity either.
Why don't you just use a cast bullet?
