    Absolutely!
    This batch is 8oz of gelatin to 10cups of water. That was the most popular ratio that is the closet equivalent to 10% ballistics gel.
    This recipe says to start with cool water so the gelatin won't clump (it didn't) and mix well. Then refrigerate until firm. Next step is to very slowly melt it on the stove or double boiler. Then pour into mold and refrigerate at least 18 hours.

    Update: got the gel out of the refer and completed step two of heating it to 130°f, it's been poured into the mold and needs to be refrigerated for a minimum of 18 hours.
