Good info. The one thing I appreciate the most about rolling my own is that it has tough me more about how ammunition performs that anything I would have learned by shooting even premium factory loads.

For me it’s made me more in sync with my gun. You learn the likes and dislikes because each one is different.

Very good point. One thing to keep in mind is that even with premium factory loads the manufacturers still have to deliver a product that will perform across the spectrum of guns in that caliber. We can tailor our product to excel in one. Part of the fun is working up the loads to get that performance.
