    9mm in a carbine

Thinking of getting a CZ Scorpion carbine. Has anyone compared their reloads for velocity from say a Glock 17 and a longer barreled carbine? Same load through each? I assume the longer barrel would prefer a slower powder if I am looking for higher velocity.
Is there a bullet weight the Scorpion would be more reliable with?
    Thanks

You going to be shooting suppressed or going for broke? The Lyman 50th has a reloading section for 9mm in a carbine.

I am seeing about 100 fps increase from the Scorpion Evo pistol over a Glock 17. I have not shot the carbine length Scorpion. Here are my 147gr Gold Dot loads:

    Glock 17
    N330 4.3grs 969 fps
    Unique 4.5grs 975 fps
    Power Pistol 4.9grs 965 fps
    HS6 5.7grs 978 fps
    LongShot 4.8grs 976 fps

    Scorpion EVO pistol
    Glock 17
    N330 4.3grs 1047 fps
    Unique 4.5grs 1091 fps
    Power Pistol 4.9grs 1091 fps
    HS6 5.7grs 1091 fps
    LongShot 4.8grs 1074 fps

In my data loads from my 16" JP barrel run about 100fps faster then the same load out of my 5" XD. Now if they are sub loads with 165gr bullets they run about 50fps out of the JP compared to the XD.
