So I'm trying to load the z max with cfe 223. The closest thing to data is a 50 gn gmx. What do you think, 26.0 gn at 2.24 oal it's a different bullet combo. Before I crank them out, should I.

Honestly it would be best to work up some loads. If you start with a charge and play around with it, increasing it slowly at a set OAL until you see good groupings. It seems the zmax aren't real picky on OAL, more so on the charge. 2.200 to 2.240 seems to be the average.

Yes, I used a Caldwell sled for the tests. I like to keep me out of the equation when getting a load developed.
