Depends on the intended target and distance more than anything.
Every rifle shoots differently, but you can get some pretty good starting points with the proper info.
Hunting?
Match Shooting?
Paper punching?
What distances?
what gun?
What Twist rate?
I have favorite loads for most of the applications wes stated. They are similar but not the same. All are for gas guns and warmish for the guns (maybe 4 loads before primer pockets loosen up). All use varget. For absolute accuracy near and far, I've had best results w 178eldm seated fairly short in lapua brass. I don't really see enough difference in lapua vs a well prepped lc brass to justify the cost but there is a difference and it becomes obvious beyond 800. Hunting 178eldx. 175rdf and 175 smk both very good target choices. Wes has the best price I've seen on the 178eldm.
Fyi, 4 rifles, all 1:10, 16 to 20 inches. 3 barrel mfgs krieg, criter, rainier.

I only use Lapua brass for consistency and it was the first brass I bought for it (before I knew of Wes). My gun (26” 1:10 twist Savage 12FV) loves anything 168gr. With varget. I’ve also had great results with the 200gr ELD-X and 178gr ELD-X

Lapua brass that has been slightly neck turned
42grs of varget looks real good even though its light. I may look for a faster node.
168gr SMK
I forgot the primer. I'll have to find my notes.
