Now that we're not kids...Asparagus is great for horderves.
Every family gathering...Christmas included.
In a small pan on stove top I cook the smallest stalked asparagus I can find.
I cook it covered medium heat with Johnny Seasoning, beer, butter and the pickle juice from a jar of Jalapenos.
I keep adding beer as it evaporates when uncovering to stir/flip. Jalapeno Pickle juice to taste......
My sister hates hot stuff...but it doesn't stop her from gobbling down fist fulls of these gems.
