    .240 Page Souper Pooper

So let's just say I finally got my hands on a mid-50's build, anyone have dies? lol
Also have a second one that I haven't found a barrel stamp on yet (will do a chamber cast), but the bore seems to be a 6mm/243.
Neither of these are mine, but a friend who inherited them and knows little to nothing about them....

Quality brass has .244 Remington brass (need to fire form)....hopefully in the next month will have the first rounds down range on this old bird in decades

My wife is starting to think I'm nuts, I'm getting a few "special" guns

Harter...I may inquire on those in the near future...my 22-250 is about ready to rebate

Found dies on eBay, and unfortunately graff's/midway were both sold old on .244 Remington, but managed to find two NOS box's from the 60's....first rounds should be next weekend

Also, 2nd rifle is NOT a 6mm/243 as thought...I'm leaning more toward a 7mm mag do to bolt & bore size...but need to do a chamber cast (no chambering marking, 59 build date on a win 70 action)

Received NOS .244 Remington cases yesterday, felt kinda bad cutting the factory sealing wrap...but date code says made September 7, 1962

Will load some tonight with 95gr Nosler BT, and most likely H4350 tonight, fire form, chrono and resight in a vintage Leopold 3-9 tomorrow am

    I forgot the chrono....but....

41gr of IMR4350, WLR primer, 95gr BT (2.770" COAL) will group nicely @ 100 even thru a 60's vintage Leopold 3x9....20 cases fireformed, ran thru the correct die and ready for primetime

Did not run ladder tests as owner is happy with group size, and not wanting to run up the round count unnecessarily in his fathers heirloom gun without it being pointed at a coyote

Just something I found online...is close but doesn't exactly match the subject chamber but is apparently modeled after a reamer
