    Ammo box/ loading trays

I found these for sale about 10 years ago and just assumed they'd been available since the 1970s they'd be around a while longer.

Loading and 30 cal can trays.
    I need a tray about .750 deep 10×3.375" w100 .600 deep×.520 dia holes each . A 5×20 grid .

I need another one the same but with .500 deep×.450 dia holes for 200 arranged in 8×25 grid .

    I need 30 of each .
This will accommodate all of my pistol and rifle needs.

$14 a pair is why I have 45 ACP, 40 S&W and 9mm box trays all over the place and so much wasted unstable space in my ammo cans . The 45 trays are fine in the 50 cal cans for 200 rounds a layer unless you have a partial tray or empty and loaded trays mixed and then it's a mess that spills . In order to use them as batch trays they have to be cut down or filled for the ACP clans .

Dad had a couple long ago , only one survived. It's a great rifle tray but it's an inch deep and won't take 45-70. The brand is gone and it only holds 80 now. Seen in the pic .

I haven’t seen any of those in a long time. I’ll keep my eyes peeled though.

Weren’t those originally marketed as shotshell holders for ammo cans?

They may have been this one has some 45 Colts in the back half .
That would make sense if it were for 100 each 410s ,you could 200 in a 30 cal can , probably even 3" .
Honestly I never even gave it a thought that it might have been a 410 tray . It always had 25-,30-06' or 22-250 in it but only for the 50 yr or so .

No wonder the guy on FB thought I was trolling ........ that'll probably make them easier to find and cheaper too .
It doesn't solve for the 45-70 but a 28ga tray might if they are for a 30 cal vs 50 cal can .
