I got some 190gr hunter supply WFN bullets yesterday. Going to see what I can do with them in my 4” GP100 357mag. I think I’m going to start with 2400 and H110.

I have access to 6"Sec 6 and a 5-5/8 3 screw OM BlackHawk. I loaded some 170 HC Speer over 14.5 H110 from the rifle data section of the Lyman book . They're fantastic in the 18" 1894 C . I think that was when I broke my wrist the first time . I fired 2 in the Sec 6 thinking maybe my grip was bad the first time . My grip was fine not so much the load .
I’m hoping for no broken wrist tomorrow

Well I shot both loads Sunday. 25yds off a rest. The 2400 load was 1250fps and had a 3” 6 shot group. The H110 load was 1225fps and a 3.5” group. It was 91° out the H110 had a little bit of sticky extraction, but I’ve had worse out of factory ammo. Both powders showed promise, I’m going to reduce the loads a little and see if that will tighten up the groups a little.

And, no broken wrist?Good work, seems like a good start.
"Long range shooting, It's like golf, but for men"
I reduced the loads a little, hoping for a bit better accuracy. No dice, both loads shot just about the same as last time. Back to the drawing board.

I’ve settled on 11.7gr of 2400 with this 190gr WFN. After shooting it a few more times, I realized I was the culprit. It’s been consistently printing sub 3” groups at 25 yards. I think that’s the best this guy can do.
