I picked up an AR in 6.5 Grendel, it has a 20” barrel with 1:8 twist. and I am looking for bullets that people have had the best accuracy with. I plan to hunt pigs and deer. Thanks

The 1-8" twist will handle and stabilize a lot more bullet than the cartridge will use effectively.
120s are probably going to be as good as it gets for keeping terminal effect .
140s will see good long range retention of energy but it will be past 300 yd before you see the advantage.
160s while stable will be both deep seated and closing on subs if there is data .
I would stay away from anything premium and stay with cup and core types .
Sierra avoiding the Kings should be good .
Hornady interlocks will be good .
The Grendel is a cartridge that is much like the other Armalite design cartridges it will allow many of the designed for the caliber target HPs because of it's reduced velocities make fair game bullets within reason.
I have a 22” 1-8” twist Grendel. I’ve had excellent results with Barnes 100gr TTSX @2800fps, and Hornady 123gr SST @2550fps. I haven’t shot anything but paper with these loads but they are very accurate.
I have some Nosler 120gr ballistic tips that I’m going to try next (when I get around to it). I also have some Hornady 95gr VMax that are on the list.
The bullet I really want is the Speer 120gr gold dot, if I can ever find any.
In my opinion, the Grendel is at its best for hunting with 100-120ish grain bullets, any more weight and velocity starts falling off fast.

I loaded 129 interlock and seems to be long for my Gun. I have some 95 gr. V max and 123 gr. SST. I am going to load a few of each in the next few days and will post results.
II have CFE223, BLc2, and Benchmark. Also found some 100 and 120 gr. Nosler BT.

You should get some good results with those. I really like benchmark.
