I'm loading 00 buck for fun, not hunting. In my test loads, the shot is embedding into the hull pretty far, which causes a few fliers at 25 yards.
BPI sells Tyvec cards that are supposed to help with this. Anyone have experience? I can make my own tyvec cards to try. Suggestions from experience?
In the next test, I'm going to use a .050" cardboard card under the shot because I have them.
I have a lot of experience with Lee key drive slugs, and they are designed to do this.
