It is hard to clean out of barrels. It was really popular in the 90’s. Reducing pressure. Reducing fouling. Extending barrel life. Increasing velocity. These were all of moly coating claims to fame. It turned out to be a big dirty pain in the ass that was more hassle than helpful. The good thing is that you can throw all those bullets in a tumbler and clean it off of them, then you have some good bullets to shoot.
