I built one out of an old treadmill. I've got less than $100 in the build.
There great for large amounts of dry media too.

We use plastic cement mixers for wet and dry tumbling in the shop. We replaced the steel mixer blades with MDF fins that don't scrape the brass.
We use a Harbor Freight steel mixer as pictured above that we drilled holes in to rinse in and spin off the water. Doesn't need any mixing fins.
These mixers see 10s of thousands of cases per week and we're on our SECOND wet tumbler since we started business.

I built mine out of pvc pipe, end caps and a treadmill. I took the treadmill completely apart, reassembled it with the rails cut down and reused the control pannel so I could control the speed.
