I started the smoker at mid night. The wind is blowing 30 mph and 17 degrees. Having trouble keeping the temp up. Used the only thing in the yard that I could find to block the wind.

Try wrapping the firebox in a welding blanket and throw a moving blanket over the smoker. It’s a game changer when it’s that cold. I cooked for a family reunion here in Colorado here a while back when it down around 0 up in Morrison where we were staying.
