There are days I could easily burn through 1000 rounds other days I'm lucky if I go through 100 rounds, kinda depends on how busy the range is, sometimes I help the RSO's out

I usually go to the range to test loads and try new things. I spend more time letting my barrels cool between groups than I do shooting.

If I'm there to shoot, it goes something like this, shoot 5 spend the next 10 or so minutes BSing, repeat as necessary. On days that it's packed it might be an hour before I get my first shot off, not because there's no room on the line, a lot of couch commandos show up at the same time so I usally wait till they run out of ammo before I set up, had the sheriffs dept show up about a year and half ago because somebody shot over the backstop and hit a house

Last time I was at my usual range, a guy took an ND (from someone else) to the back of the leg.

Had that round gone about 10 degrees to the left, it would’ve gone into my chest...

I’ve been kind of hesitant to go to a public range since then.
