Got a dummy made up for the 7.7×58 Japanese .
Paper patched , NOE 311-230 FP . The patch isn't long enough I don't think but that's why I practice on odd brass . This bullet only needs 1900fps to reach the arbitrary assigned 1000 ft lb at 100 yd the alloy should expand and stay together .

How long does the patch need to be? Excuse my ignorance on this topic. Ive always been fascinated but have zero experience.
