4x2 whitetail falls to the youngest's 6.5 Grendel Howa Mini Action and a 2x2 mule deer to the oldest's 6.5x55 Swede Tika T3. I made them both load their own ammo from start to finish. The youngest even did his own ladder test. Both used 100gr Nosler Partitions. IMR8208XBR for the Grendel and Varget for the Swede.

That was sooo last year. They went and did it again this year! My youngest and I each were blessed with xtags, controlled hunt draw for doe on private land only and all 3 of us got our whitetail buck tags filled to boot.
