First I’d like to apologize to the OP for highjacking his thread. This will be my last post, so others can comment on their 280 ackley loads. Ive got a nazi Mauser in 257 Roberts, a VZ24 in 338-06 Ackley, Charles Daley in 375 Whelen improved, and a Turkish 98 with the original 8x57 barrel. Ive got several small ring Mausers too, but Ive already abused this thread enough.
