I just picked up a 6.5 creedmore, it will be used for hunting.
What bullets and weight are y'all using for deer hunting

I don’t have a 6.5CM, but I do hunt with a 6.5-284 and 3 different 6.5x55’s. My hunting mostly consists of under 200yds for deer and feral hogs. My go to bullets are the 140gr hornady interlock sp and the Sierra 140gr gameking spbt. I have some 140gr Speer gold dots, from Wes, that I haven’t tried yet. What kind of critters are you after? What kind of ranges are you expecting to shoot?

Average shot will be 70 yards. Nothing bigger than a deer.
Every now and then 150 yard shot will pop up

Any quality hunting bullet, 120-140gr, will work well for that application. I’ve used almost all of them with good results on deer.
