    Bore Tex Muzzle Caps

Wondering if anyone has used the Bore Tex muzzle caps on their rifles. They advertise that they are shoot through which would be ideal when I come across a coyote. Looking for something to put over the muzzle on my rifle I carry in my side by side to keep dirt and dust out. If anybody has any other suggestions on what I could use that is shoot through I would appreciate it.

Small balloon. Fit it tight across the muzzle. Word is,pressure coming down the barrel in front of the moving bullet, blows a hole in the tightly fitting rubber. The bullet never even touches the rubber. ---- SAWMAN

Guess I’ve always just used electrical tape. One piece over the muzzle and a piece around the barrel to keep it tight. When you shoot through it, add another layer.
