If you buy a Kimber,buy a model with the inside extractor (like a Colt 1911). For a couple of years they switched to an outside extractor and those guns gave the shooter a bit of trouble.
I carried a Kimber Ultra Carry CDP II (3") for years. After about 2000rds,never a single problem. ---- SAWMAN
