I have a 10MM Kimber. Works great so far. But it is a single stack like you said. Bad ammo and other things can cause a failure to fire. Just because it happens, doesn't mean the gun is at fault.

The EAA 10mm with the steel frame is a tack driver. Only downside is it will throw brass in to the next county. Mine does not seem to care if I feed it short and week ammo.
