Cannelures should never be used as a reference for seating depth. It's merely a mechanical bond securing the jacket to the core. You're going to get a bunch of different answers on that. I seat 50gr Zmax at 2.250, but that's what my gun likes. Others seat to 2.200. If you have any doubts or something looks off, double check your data.Sent from my SM-J727V using Tapatalk

The second edition of Modern reloading is anywhere from 2.140-2.235 depending on the powder.
