One of our goals here at Sage's Reloading Forum (SRF) is to have as much of a self-moderated forum as possible. We are (hopefully) all adults and should be able to either play well with each other, or at least pretend to.
By being a members of Sage's Reloading Forum (SRF), we expect you to follow this simple Code of Conduct:
1) Respect - We ask all members to respect one another, whether they have earned it or not. Verbal attacks on other members will not be tolerated; we may call each other names in jest, and that is fine, but please do not cross the line to hostility. Disrupting normal, on-topic discussion, inciting arguments or baiting others to do so, engaging in ad hominem attacks during a discussion, or publicly demanding or insinuating that another member should be banned is never acceptable.
2) Posting of Prohibited Material - Re-posting of copyrighted work is not allowed. Sage's Reloading will not be held liable for any item that you post. We also ask that you do not post pornographic or offensive material in threads. We do have a NSFW area available to those who feel they need it. No nudity is allowed in the non-NSFW areas.
3) Hate Free Zone - Sage's Reloading Forum (SRF) will not tolerate hate speech of any kind directed at a particular race, culture, lifestyle, or group. This includes bashing of other online forums; SRF is not in competition with other forums and cooperates and has relationships with many other sites. Please be respectful towards other communities.
4) Expectation of Privacy - The end user should have no expectation to privacy. Most of what is said on these forums can be read by the public. That being said, the Administration of SRF believes that Private Messages are just that, private. The Administration has not installed ANY modification to the site to allow us to read any of your PMs. The Administration, though, has the right to all information on this forum, and may revise this Privacy Policy or any other policies on a case-by-case scenario. PLEASE NOTE: If a member uses the "report" button on a PM, then the moderators will be able to view that PM and may take action if there is a violation of the Code of Conduct. It is never acceptable for any member to publicly post a PM without the permission of the person who sent it.
5) Compliance with Laws - All users are expected to comply with all local, state and federal laws when posting on the site. Please be aware that the Administration will comply with all legitimate law enforcement requests for information related to active investigations.
6) Only One Account Per Person - Only one Sage's Reloading Forum account is allowed per person; creation of a second account will likely result in both accounts being banned. If you are having log-in problems with your account and don't know why, please e-mail sagewa@yahoo.com
7) Representing Our Community - It is expected that all members will represent our firearms community in a positive light. Do not post anything that may cause embarrassment to Sage's Reloading Forum or the firearms community in general.
8) Don't be a dick. - Yes, this one is a self-explanatory catch-all.
9) Posting Brass and Bullets - Please remember that this is not only a forum for people to discuss our hobby, but it is a place for Sage's Reloading Supply to post items our company sells. All Brass and Bullet sales by private parties can detract from our sales, and this is how our guys feed their families. All Brass and Bullet Sales posts must be approved by an admin.
10) Other reloading Vendors - Have a product to sell that does not conflict with Sage's, or is unique to your business, ads may be posted for a fee, and advertising space may be purchased here on the page. Message (PM) me (Wes Sage) if you would like to advertise and post retail products for sale. Posts made without permission will be deleted without warning.
11) Rule Changes - Rules are subject to change at any time, and are subject to Admin discretion. Checking this rules page periodically will ensure you are up to date and not in violation of any rules. Major announcements will be made if there are rule changes. Have questions, suggestions, ideas on the rules that should or should not be in place, Message me directly.
If you feel a person has violated a rule or this Code of Conduct, please report the post and/or contact a moderator.
