So I bit the bullet today and bought a dillon 650. Being new to the progressive scene I'm used to sizing, trimming, and loading after trimming. The 650 isnt very accommodating in this respect. Any recommendations?

Mutable ways to approach this. The 650 can be set up with just the sizing die and Dillon’s trimmer. After running the brass through that set up and deburring brass, the press can be set up without sizing die installed for a second pass through the press. Or you can size on any press and trim and deburr as normal, then run through the 650 without sizing die installed.
For straight walled handgun brass you can just load and not worry about trimming. That is what the 650 is really designed to do.
