How many uniform there primer pockets? Worth going through the effort for AR 223?

Yes! I use my chamfer tool for the 223 that had the boxed/crimped primers. Makes like SOOO much easier instead of fighting them into position and risking damage/flattening primers.

Unless you're chasing ridiculous accuracy it's not worth doing.

I'm not talking about crimped primer pockets. I'm talking about depth of the pocket. This is what the uniformer does.

Gotcha. I can shoot sub moa now most of the time at 100 yards so I guess I'm happy with that. Thanks Cody.[emoji106]

I do it on the brass for my precision rifles. I don’t for my hunting rifles. There is a benefit, but it is minimal.

You're welcome! I looked into it and asked Wes and he said it's not worth doing unless you're a precision shooter.

I do it to all my rifle brass. I use a solid carbide one from Sinclair from Brownells. Small one is this link. https://www.brownells.com/reloading/...prod34720.aspx

I do it when processing once fired brass, just part of the process. No need to ever do it again after that.
