A list of necessary equipment needed for those of you interested in starting to reload on a tight budget while maintaining a reasonable production rate.
The backbone of all reloading operations is the press. This kit comes with a good press, decent powder measure, and a somewhat tedious to use but accurate scale.

You will need a die set in the caliber you wish to start loading. Lee die sets include the necessary shell holder, an added expense with other die brands

If reloading rifle rounds you will eventually need to trim your brass. This is the lowest cost trimmer available. It is slow but will get the job done and you only need to trim when the brass is long.

The above are all the tooling needed to make reliable, safe, and accurate ammunition. All for about $200 plus shipping. I used Midway USA as an example one stop shopping retailer. You may find a lower price if you shop around.
Load data can be found free online and at some libraries. Although nothing can replace a good manual or two. It would be wise to read a manual first thing. Obviously you need powder, primers, (best purchased locally) bullets and brass.(from Wes if possible)
I know some will say it can be done for less or with different/better tools, but remember the “on a tight budget while maintaining a reasonable production rate“ part. This is my opinion and I hope it helps.
