Cycling 9mm several times to check oal and noticed that some will shorten by as much as .02 after 3 cycles.

Cycling thru the chamber will cause setback

Does it show any set back after the first cycle? That is all it will when it is fired.

Not big and tall but big and round
Only sets back about .005 - .010 after one cycle
If it were me, I would add a little more crimp.
