Cetme 308 brass takes a beating

I have a Cetme C308 and it shoots great, but it sure chews up the brass...the nature of the fluted chamber in these guns means the brass extracts with micro-grooves and sometimes dented case mouths. the dents don't concern me but I have a little concern over the grooves caused by the chamber...are these safe to reload?

Got a HK91. Been reloading for this gun for years.
Fluted chamber causes flutes in brass. Since the brass is extracted and ejected so fast,it dings off of everything. My gun throws brass 20-30'.
I use a heavy amount of lube, run the brass into the die slowly, partially lower the ram, turn the brass 90-180deg and run it back inside the die. I full length size it also.
Some of my brass has been reloaded 6-8 times. All brass for this gun is heavily mixed using both civilian and military.
These guns will absolutely eat everything. --- SAWMAN :-)

Yeah, I luv shooting them, and I also have to run the cases up in the die several times in stages to keep them from sticking...I was just concerned the flutes weaken the brass...glad to hear someone else loads these...thanks heaps for the reply

It most likely does. But I have so damn much 308Win/7.62X51 it doesn't bother me to loose some or trash some.
This gun is about the only gun that I own that I do not get too picky about how the brass looks or how it is loaded. I use all CCI250 primers and 748 powder. My case lengths and loaded lengths vary quite a bit. Mostly all pulled bullets are used. And it still is a 2.5 - 3.0MOA gun.
    I bough my gun new,in 1983 for $680. I also own a HK93. --- SAWMAN

yeah, I picked one up way cheap because the bolt carrier had issues, but I ordered a parts kit and replaced the bolt and bolt carrier and with a lot of lubriplate to start with, got it operating smooth...
