    Resizing 6.5 Creedmoor

I’m pulling my hair out on this one.

I bought several hundred rounds of fired Hornady brass from Wes.
I loaded up a bunch. Most of it won’t chamber. (My fault for not checking). Some must have been fired in an oversized chamber ???
I picked up a Hornady go no go gauge. I pulled the bullets from a batch and resized again. The brass was FL resized before loading but I figured I’d made a mistake along the way. No matter what I do most of the brass is no go.
I can’t figure out why the brass is not resizing to specs.
I’ve tried adjusting the die, I tried a different shell holder, trimmed....

Anyone else seen this? Any input would be great.

Hornady Custom Grade. Imperial lube. Camming over.
I’m thinking of finding a different sizing die.

    Very odd for sure.
I personally use Hornady Unique Case Lube, and get WAY better sizing using it. It is very slick and helps the brass slide in the die easier, and take a better body and shoulder set.
Die could be the issue for sure.
Please PM me and keep me posted.
If for some reason there are still issues, we'll take care of it.

There’s no fault on your end. I’m happier than hell to be your customer.
I’ll try some different lube today.
    Already orders different dies.
    I’ll keep you posted.

It sounds like you are doing everything correctly, I think you are on the right track to try a different set of dies. Let us know what you find.

It’s so hard to offer up advice when we can’t see, first hand, what’s going on. What press are you using? You’ve got hornady dies. How far are you turning the die in after it touches the shell holder? Do you have enough lube on the inside of the case necks? I don’t feel like the imperial sizing die wax is your culprit here.

Exactly. I’ve been reloading 30+ years. Never seen this one.
