You can find a lot of inexpensive brass that has a military crimp, 556, 308, even some 9mm has it-and with the tool, it's easy to remove without damaging the brass or making the primer pocket unusable. Now, for the .50BMG, it was not as easy-had to use a broken primer punch, tapped it in then worked it loose, Then tapped the primer pocket tool I bought which was supposed to remove the crimp using your press-but wasn't strong enough to remove plus damaged some brass. they really don't have a cutter/reamer big enough I've found which is Shallow enough not to bottom out.
