I have been "deep" into reloading for my new T/C Encore Prohunter,28",1:12 barreled gun.
This gun will be a hunter only for hogs and possibly deer.
I quickly learned that the 22-250 chambering would be perfect with a 10 twist bbl. You are somewhat limited to the bullet weights (lengths) with the 12 twist bbl. Especially the bullets with no lead (Barnes,etc.).
The two bullets that I have tried so far are the Barnes 53gr TSX-FB and the 60gr NosPart.
It is really sad that these hyper velocity chamberings are not coupled with a 1:10 twist bbl. That would open up a whole new selection of both hunting AND target bullets that could be used at the longer ranges. --- SAWMAN

Why just dance when you can "rock and roll".
