I have had 3 different 22-250's. (Yes this is a seriously hot load) All of them shot 36gr of IMR 3031 with a 53 to 55gr bullet. They were shot out to 600 yrds with extreme accuracy. They were chronoed at 4100fps. The load data is from a lyman 48th edition manual. Those were only used when I was going to shoot that far. I don't advise loading and shooting alot of them because its a compressed charge and its a max load. The effects on the brass are. The primers are completely flat with a little metal roll back at the firing pin. You'll get about 3 or 4 reloads out of the brass before the primer pocket is stretched out.
